In a constant improvement of our services CRYOVISION® has developed in collaboration with GTT an innovative inspection tool called MOON for MOtorized balloON. MOON inspection process is based on a tracer gas and a sniffer tool directly fixed on the balloon.
This new product made of an automated Helium balloon is quickly installed by CRYOVISION® operators in any tanks of membrane type LNGC. MOON installation is done without much interaction between equipments and primary membrane, like scaffoldings, that’s decreases risks for the insulation to be damaged. During a dry dock in a short period of time MOON checks with efficiency for the tightness of 100% of primary membrane.
